currently

I've been feeling pretty sick this week, and right now I have some chicken noodle soup boiling away on the stove. We also have some fresh Tiger bread, my favorite. What could be better? So today feels like a good day for recording what I'm currently doing.

Loving my brand new fuzzy blanket. It's the first extra blanket we own, and I love curling up with it in the evenings. Why did we wait so long? I even love the bright green color (although my husband... does not).

Reading A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon. I don't really like it -- the characters are all kind-of awful, except Jamie. But its better than my last read, Sadie Jones' newest book. That was terrible, and the characters were truly horrific. I hated them all.

Watching Burn Notice with my husband. It's pretty funny, and lightweight, so it's good escapism. Plus Michael is gorgeous.

Listening to so much music, thanks to my husband uploading it all to my phone! I particularly like Mumford & Sons, something Sam will never understand.

Looking forward to eating my soup! It smells so good. OK, but also the next month or so being over. We're flying back to America in March, and I'm excited. Admittedly, mostly for the trip to be over. But also to be in America, where we will: get my hair cut (finally), buy a new hard drive for my computer, renew my husband's driving license, and eat pizza. Mmm.

What are you looking forward to?
