I started the week at my grandparents' house in Vermont, where we enjoyed the cold weather, ate a lot of delicious food, bought some amazing cheese, saw some glassblowing, and admired the new porch they've added to their house. On New Year's Eve, Sam had to work during the day, so Oliver and I joined my mom and siblings in Boston. We visited the new Harvard art museum and then went to see some of the ice sculptures set up in Faneuil Hall and at the aquarium. It was fun, but also freezing out and there was loads of traffic. That night, we took Oliver to a party Sam's friends were hosting. We were pretty exhausted, but had fun playing games and staying up late anyway. Oliver refused to sleep there, but was pretty happy regardless, so that was okay.

We started 2015 with plenty of family time. On Thursday morning we had a delicious brunch with my aunt, her fiancé and his children. We made ebelskivers, pain au chocolate, bacon, scrambled eggs and bought oranges and orange juice. We then got to work on the Paris puzzle my dad had out while the boys watched some football (not something that the many girls in our family know much about).
Wow! That bread looks amazing :) it sounds like you've had a fun time!
