My baby sister has been asked to the prom! Prom! How is she old enough? (Actually she is 17 but in my head she is maybe 10...12 at a stretch. Is that annoying to all younger siblings? I have no idea.)
Spring! Is finally here! Well, mostly. But we had like an actual, warm, 70 (Fahrenheit) day yesterday. It was bliss. I went for a long evening walk with my sister and my husband. That is the best thing about warmer weather.... when it is 6 pm and still light out, with warm air that's just the tiniest bit chilly, and you can go for evening walks.
The worst thing about warmer weather? Bugs. And ticks. We founds a tick on our bed yesterday and I'm still freaking out. Ugh.
Last weekend was General Conference. We have that twice a year as Mormons and they are the best weekends of the year. Saturday was also my sister-in-law's birthday, and I made her a cake. My very first ever cake from scratch! And it was good. Especially with ice cream.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend. I mostly just can't wait to fly back to England this weekend. We've had a wonderful visit here, but I miss my life there.
Hi! I feel the same way about my younger siblings. One of my sisters in turning 18 nest month! 18! I told her that is not possible, because she's only 8, tops. ;)
